Mountains and Beach,
Where You Should Be

Our love affair with the Blue Ridge Mountains began on our honeymoon in 1982. On a return trip for our 25th anniversary, we decided to move to the mountains. After living here in North GA for over 16 years, we can’t think of anywhere else we would like to live. We live 3-12 miles from our cabins, so we’re just around the corner if you need us.

Our cabins in the Blue Ridge area are all 2-bedroom cabins, great for a quick getaway and base for your mountain adventures.  When we purchased our Gulf Shores home, we wanted something larger, (4 bedroom) that was very close to the beach, no traffic or crowds, and could also fit larger groups or families.  When you and other guests aren’t staying in our beach house, we sneak down for a few days of Fun and Sun ourselves.

Where do people who live in the mountains go for vacation? The beach of course! We’re living in paradise, but sometimes we want a little change of scenery. That’s why we purchased a new vacation home in Gulf Shores, AL.

The people here in Blue Ridge and Gulf Shores are kind, open and welcoming to us, and they will be for you too!

All of our cabins have gas-fireplaces inside the cabin.  Typically, they are functional October – April only.  If the pilot light is accidentally turned off, you will find the directions for re-lighting the fireplace in the cabin book.  All the fireplaces are turned off during the warmer months (when the a/c is running).  The fireplaces put out too much heat in the warm months and the a/c cannot keep up with the excess heat.
